William Norris- Sr. Vice President

Hello, and welcome to the Sr. Vice President's webpage. I am currently a senior at Craigmont High School in Memphis, Tennessee. I have been attending Craigmont since ninth grade and have enjoyed every minute of it.

	I am a member of Business Professionals of America and have been since ninth grade, but last year was my first year as an officer. The position that I held last year was treasurer.
	I participated last year in state competition in Nashville, Tennessee. The competition that my partner and I participated in was Presentation Team Management.
	We placed third out of the state which was not high enough to attend nationals.
	I was also selected out of hundreds of students across the state of Tennessee to be in Governor's School for Information Technology which was held at Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee.
	At Governor's School, I spent five weeks learning about business management and received six hours of college credit.

Because this is my last year in high school, I want to make it memorable, so I have joined different clubs and organizations.

	I am now a member of DECA which is an association of marketing students.
	This year will also be my first year participating with the Crucial Percussions Drumline—Craigmont's Drumline.

My plans for the future are to go to college and major in broadcast journalism. I want to attend Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. After attending school, I want to be an anchor for a local news station and then build my career from there. Eventually I want to own my own production company and have my own show.

This year, the officers and I have plans on making this year, the best year ever in the history of Craigmont's BPA.
