| The International
Studies Club at Craigmont is made up of students who are part of the International
Studies curriculum and who want to pursue those studies in more relaxed
and enjoyable ways. The club is active throughout the school year in a
number of projects. The year usually begins with an Open House given by
the club for the foreign exchange students who are enrolled at Craigmont
for the school year.
The International Studies club also helps the foreign language department in its annual foreign Language Fair given for elementary students. Club members help make signs, posters, and serve as guides on the day of the fair. The club sponsors an International Dinner each year, with proceeds going to the International Studies Department, as well as to the club. The club takes a number of field trips during the school year. This year the club has visited a local Hindu Temple, a Jewish Synagogue, and a Moslem Mosque. Ethnic dinners at various local restaurants are highlights of the club's yearly activities. There are over 30 members of the International Studies club. Faculty sponsor is Elisa Brock.
